MOTHER BLESSING CEREMONY

A Mother Blessing Ceremony is a sacred gathering that honors and supports a woman as she steps into motherhood. This ceremony is designed to nourish her emotionally, spiritually, and physically — a pause to celebrate her journey, connect with community, and anchor love and support. Through ritual, music, guided meditation, sharing circles, and heart-centered practices, each ceremony is curated to create a safe, beautiful, and unforgettable experience. It is a moment to slow down, feel held, and step into motherhood with intention, joy, and connection with a supportive circle of friends.

 

Duration: 2 hours (can be adjusted to suit your group)

Recommended Timing: Best experienced between 32–36 weeks of pregnancy.​

1. Opening & Welcome – Setting the intention for the ceremony and creating a safe, sacred space.

2. Guided Meditation / Blessing Circle – sisters share blessings, intentions, and heartfelt messages for the mother-to-be.

3. Pampering the mumma - anything that feels appropriate and nourishing - organised by your closest circle of women

4. Red Thread Ritual – A symbolic practice to honor connection, protection, and the bonds of family and community.

5.. Music & Sound – Optional live music or guided sound journey to enhance presence, love, beauty.

6. Nurturing Feast – A gentle way to honour the body - each participant brings a dish and we share in sisterhood - supporting grounding and connection.

7. Closing & Integration – Reflection, gratitude, and a ritual to seal the intentions and blessings shared.

 

Customization: Every element of the ceremony can be adapted — from music, rituals, and movement, to the inclusion of personal storytelling, poetry, or anything meaningful to you. The ceremony can be small or large, according to the mother’s wishes, but I personally recommend to keep it more intimate and sacred.

Starting from $300 depending on location. 

The cost of the ceremony can be shared by the participants as a gift for the mama.

•  90-120min of facilitation by me;

• Complete organization of ceremony and attendees;

• Middle altar with oracle cards, crystals and candles;

• Materials for rituals;

• Sound bath with crystal bowls;

• Space hire

• Cushions, chairs, or bolsters for participants

• Food

Optional extras: 

• Cacao ceremony - $10 per participant​
